We are lucky enough to have an internationally trained chef that is free to create in the kitchen as chefs once were. We are not tied to any suppliers and only serve fresh ingredients so you will never see any frozen food vans outside our pub.
We are situated in the beautiful village of Shalford, on the outskirts of Guildford. We are a 30 minute walk from Guildford train station but only 30 seconds from Shalford train station. An ideal spot for a quick drink before heading home to the real world we offer free WiFi and live timetables for the local train and bus stations. The river Wey conveniently passes through the village as well. This all helps to make us a traditional pub with traditional values that is a popular location for ramblers and explorers of every kind.
